Why I am buying new tits!

Time for some personal info here. (Even better as I am not using a screen or pen name, but my real name. I find this important as there is no reason for shame in choosing body modification.)  I have never had big guns.  I wear a 32 B bra, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 115 lbs, wearing a size 0.  Sounds lovely as I am a small person.  I am athletic and have what some consider a swimmers body with broad shoulders.  Honestly, I have always been a bit out of proportion (in my opinion) as I have slight curves and am not a ruler or stick figure, but am a bit flat chested. I am 43 and have two children, which if you have kids you understand that this changes your breasts. All this is easily disguised by the lovely selection and bra styles available. The reality is that my body and my boobs don't suck, they just could be better.  And that is the point, I want them to be better when I look at myself naked in the mirror...and why not as the options are available? It really is as basic as that.  It is not so someone else finds my tatas great.  My husband has never complained and as far as anyone else goes who cares? Nobody has ever actually told me I needed bigger boobs. Appearance is subjective. There are enough people and opinions that no matter what you have some will like it and some will not.  What is important is that you like what you have.

Why buy boobs?

There are probably as many reasons to get breast augmentation/implants as people getting the surgery.  I find it interesting that American society seems fascinated by pointing implants out and making it appear as an almost taboo body modification.  Odd as it is one of the most common plastic surgeries performed.  Just browse at the covers of the tabloid magazines or perform a google search and all sorts of info on celebrity boob jobs and  bra sizes become available.  This shows the importance placed on the mammary glands of women.

Body modification is common and for breast surgery there are many reasons to undergo the surgery. A primary reason is reconstruction from breast surgery to rebuild the breast.  This is a reason that NOBODY finds flaws with (I hope).  Other reasons can be to improve the look and appearance to a preferred shape and size.  Causes for poor and/or unwanted breast shape and size can range from asymmetry (or lopsided uneven breasts) , bad proportion (too small for frame), deformities, pregnancy and nursing, time and gravitational forces.  In reality ALL of these reasons are just. (Along with a bunch more than escape me at this second.)  Outside of deformities society tends to attach a stigma of vanity and a desire to sexually impress to boob jobs.  I think this is WRONG.

I believe the biggest motivating factor that includes many reasons for surgery is that of self esteem and body image.  This image is not to be considered one of shallow vanity or not accepting who and what you are.  It is not an attack on women's lib or feeding into male desires and stereotypes.  Stereotypes do play a role, but they are not simply those of what men find sexy.  Women tend to be harsher critics of themselves and other women than any man is.

The reason to buy boobs is personal and should be respected.  If you are a woman you probably buy various types of bras and undergarments to flatter your figure and the clothes you are wearing.  This is no different.  It is a type of body modification, but temporary.  Not everyone wants permanent, but do not judge another persons choice. If you are male, do not assume the breasts are for your benefit.  Feel free to be impressed, but they are for the owner...you are just a bonus.

Intro to boobies

Welcome to 'love the boobies'.  This is about an idea of growth.  Life has transitions and stages, as well as societal customs.  Boobies, tatas, tits, breasts, hooters, etc, are terms for what we frequently associate as a crowning glory for women.  Now comes the fun part...breast augmentation, or the boob job.

I think boob jobs actually come in many forms.  It starts as a girl stuffing to create those lovely curves. It then shifts to the marvelous bra selections available (Thanks Les Wexner for Victoria's Secret).  You can change your shape and add cleavage, cup sizes, or reduce what nature gave you.  Girls can also buy chicken fillets (Gel pads to add to a bra) to create whatever shape is desired.  The full on boob job is breast augmentation.  Surgery to increase and/or lift the breasts to the desired shape and size with silicon or saline filled implants. This is where I am at...getting ready for my surgery.  The strip tease or just looking at myself in the mirror will keep the girls in place rather than having the boobies come off with the bra.  Woot! Woot!
